One Life Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Oh time slow down please wait for me,
There're many things I long to see,
For i won't have this time once more,
My life is one uncertain score.

If only i could pause a while,
Do all those things in my own time,
Then i could die a happy soul,
Will i ever reach my goal?

Oh time slow down you move too fast,
I want this lifetime, to ever last,
One day my life will truly end,
I will not have this time again.
