One More Month Of Autumn But It Snows In Northern Midwest Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

Crystal white sunlight shines under Autumn sky.
I stretch my legs on my desk as I watch the window sky.
A deciduous giant mulberry tree exposes its bare skeleton.
Birds already left for warmer zone to avoid the cold season.
There is no floating clouds under the Autumn sky.
Random gentle breeze sways needles of white pines.
The sun shines its oblique rays even it's almost noon
I sip my cup of tea while a slice of sun rays invades my room.
Here, temperature is near sixty in the open air
But in north Midwest, falling snow blinds very cold air.
Snow storm Argnos continues over there
But here, I watch cloudless sky while basking in the sun from my chair.

CÒN MỘT THÁNG NỮA MÙA THU NHƯNG TUYẾT RƠI VÙNG TRUNG BẮC MỸ

Trời Thu, nắng trắng trong lành
Ngắm trời cửa sổ, gác bàn duỗi chân.
Cây dâu hết lá trơ cành
Mùa này trốn lạnh, chim bay xa rồi.
Trời Thu, không áng mây trôi
Nhẹ nhàng gió thổi, lá thông trở mình.
Gần trưa, nắngvẫn chiếu nghiêng
Ly trà tôi nhắp, nắng xuyên cửa phòng.
Nơi đây nhiệt độ sáu mươi
Nhưng vùng Trung Bắc tuyết rơi đầy trời.
Argnos bão tuyết xa xôi
Tôi đây hong nắng, ngắm trời không mây.
