One Spring Sunday Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

One Spring Sunday

Rating: 5.0

It was a rainy Sunday
And was thinking about going to the mall
But we changed our minds
When we saw it got ugly with the thunder and lightening
The violent pairing decided for us
We listened to our records and read for a while
Had a debate what TS Eliot meant in the Wasteland
We concluded that we were starving
And wondered if the pizza from was still good
We flipped channels to find
Something else other than Ridiculousness
I scrolled on my phone to find out when
Chanel West Coast will be back
And I almost went into a rabbit hole looking
You took the phone and put it on the shelf
And said: Let's go back to bed
And I agreed
