Only If You Leave The Night Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Only If You Leave The Night

A-pril sixteenth dawn breaks,
U-nderneath the blue sky;
R-aindrops will not fall,
O-nce the sun rises high.
R-ays of the burning flame are shining on the earth;
A-nother birthday of you truly brings so much mirth.

S-hadows of dark have turned
I-nto a new morning light;
T-omorrow shall soon come
O-nly if you leave the night.
