Our Father - Poem by Anneline Pillay
You nurtured us has children,
equipped us has teenagers,
moulded us to adults,
You crafted us in Christ-likeness
taught us the values of life
showed us the way thro' education
set us to walk on higher ground.
You were our role model, disciplinarian,
comedian and dad.
As we walk our paths of life,
in our hearts you will reside,
as we live each new day
the memories of you will never fade.
Even though God knew your worth,
the priceless gem He created,
you were given to us, to be our father,
the greatest gift we were ever presented.
