Our Father Poem by louis rams

To protect his family, he stood all alone
To protect his family, he fought all storms
To protect his family there's not a single thing
He would not do, and his love always shone through.
He was our inspiration, our guiding light
Who would not turn his bsck from any fight
He was our foundation, our wall of strength
He was an angel that GOD had sent.
He was a husband, a father, a soldier too, and knew
Everything that he had to do.
He shows us faith, hope, and love when there was none
To be found, just the unfaithful and evil all around.
He made mistakes as all humans do, but changed his path
For me and you.
Temptations were put in front of hom every day, as the
Devil continued to get him to go astray.
I will follow the path that he has opened for me
So my heart and soul can be happy and free.
Our father, our dad, the best thing we ever had.
