Our National Debt Poem by Savita Tyagi

Our National Debt

Rating: 5.0

Our National debt hits
Record 34 Trillian dollars!

Come soon could there be a time,
When unable to pay,
Our Government goes to war with it's creditors.

Winning with the might of its sword,
Puts its feet on creditor Nation's chest,
The tip of sword on it's neck,
And orders the debt to be written off.

I dread to see it in my lifetime
And cringe to imagine it happening
In our beloved children's lifetime.

The seeds of war are growing and growing!
