Out Of Reach. Poem by Fay Slimm

Out Of Reach.

Rating: 5.0

Inside the space made for dawn,
When morning
Comes glorying in,
It is just then.........................
I think of you.

Inside the place where bright day
Invades dark,
Fading it away,
It is just then.........................
I think of you.

Inside the house of twilight,
Before night
Closes shutters tightly,
It is just then.........................
I think of you.

Inside the palace of dreams,
When sleeping
Brings love within reach,
It is just then........................
I run to you.

I loved this one Fay. Such meaning and care keenly tempered and carefully crafted into such a lovingly prepared poem. You've inspired me to put my love poem on 'Dawns Fist Light' Best Regards Steve

In dreams they are together, unbridled passion flowing eyes only for each other, a storm inside them growing whisked away to the isle of love, no greater place to be for through the daylight hours, I too think of thee lovely Fay
