Outside My Native Poem by Emmanuel Joseph Olumakiss

Outside My Native

Rating: 5.0

The day I saw multiple blessing
It rain from morning to evening
Indeed there was joy among the living

It is not a thing of silence
To celebrate among several souls
When the joy is immense

The period I was free from lack
Even those that stab my back
Came to eat and drink

Many have propelled my movement
This they have done without my present
My life they uplift

So much they have done; I am speechless
My blessings are now countless
This baffles my whole senses

For one to have paved my channel
My cup strangers refill
So this is real!

This I've never met before
Severally I've lived in caricature
Always bullied by foe

So truly I survive
Outside my native
Sincerely my time has arrive.
