Ek puranay mulk k musafir se meri mulakaat hue
Us ne kaha: registaan main, bina pate, bina kamar se
do jhaangain khaDi hue hain aur in k paas rait main
ek toota pathar ka chera paDa hua hai
jis pe khafgi, nafrat aur jhurioN walay hotoN
ki mohr lagi hue hai
Moortikaar ne acHi tarah uski sargarmi ko jaan liya tha
sargarmi jo uski mazaak aur pyaar se bhari hur thee
ab bhi is bina jaan pathar pe saaf saaf dikhaee de rehi thee.
Aur khaabay ki choki par he lafz likhay hue thay:
"Mera naam Ozymandias hai, main rajoN ka raja hoon
Main ne jo kaam kiyey hain, hey shaktimaan logo, dekho!
Aur mayooshi main djao! "
Is k elava kuch nahin bacha. Is mahaan tooti-footi moorti
k pass har tarf sirf rait hi rait door tak dikhaee de rehi thee.

Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear -
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair! "
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.'
