Pain Knows No Philosophy
Your advice is not advisable
pain knows no philosophy
my correction is not your pain
my pain is mine alone.
You may feel you understand
but not with the pain of the memory
only those currently in pain
can relate.
For memory defiles present pain.
After pain, men develop philosophies.
Pain knows no friends,
alone she tears at your soul.
Save your words
for your philosophy becomes,
an annoying drip, drip, drip
to those that pain torments.
