Paradise Poem by Colin Ian Jeffery

Paradise

Rating: 5.0

Paradise lies hidden beyond the sunset
Where departed love ones dwell in ceaseless happiness
Safe among butterfly meadows, sweet smelling, serene
Where birds chirp choruses of exultation
Praising Almighty God's and His creation.
Gentle breezes dance whispering sublime
Among trees laden with fruit, beauty everywhere
Angels gathered glorifying God's eternal love.
Sweet waters flow clear and sweet, rivers and streams
Sparkling brightly into sun kissed mirrored lakes
Reflecting joy of repentant souls with holy truth.
Jesus Christ, Son of Man, who forgives sin
Has prepared a home for all with faith in him
Dwelling among angels bathed in God's majesty.
