Paranoia
Cloudy Head
A cloudy head so full of doubts
irrational thoughts just screaming out
of if's, and what's and where's and how's
the brain won't rest, across this brow.
A tortuous mind that's in a spin
the beast of rage still dwells within.
When evil twists with pure emotion
no satisfaction comes with devotion.
Confrontation is what's needed
to calm the beast,
unrest displeases.
'A cloudy head so full of doubts irrational thoughts just screaming out of if's, and what's and where's and how's the brain won't rest, across this brow. A tortuous mind that's in a spin the beast of rage still dwells within.' from the first line I loved this poem
I hope this beast can be locked away for the struggles of life can be difficult enough without further pain. Bless you.

favorite lines: Confrontation is what's needed to calm the beast, unrest displeases....................if one is truly mentally ill, what sort of confrontation would you suggest? confrontation with 'what one is afraid of' OR confrontation with the experience of having paranoia? ? ========================================= thanks to Google: par·a·noi·a ˌperəˈnoiə/ noun noun: paranoia a mental condition characterized by delusions of persecution, unwarranted jealousy, or exaggerated self-importance, typically elaborated into an organized system. It may be an aspect of chronic personality disorder, of drug abuse, or of a serious condition such as schizophrenia in which the person loses touch with reality. synonyms: persecution complex, delusions, obsession, psychosis her husband had concocted a cruel scheme to inflict her with paranoia suspicion and mistrust of people or their actions without evidence or justification. the global paranoia about hackers and viruses - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - if one is paranoid, as per the definition above, then the thing(s) one is 'afraid of' are NOT REAL. am i correct? so one cannot confront something, e.g. a 'stalker', a 'liar', a 'ghost', or a 'virus', if it does not exist in the paranoid person's life, but only in their mind. but perhaps psychological or medically prescribed drug intervention could confront the paranoia. i like the poem and the rhyming. bri :)
