Passage - Poem by Linda Ori

There is a new beginning
At the moment we pass on -
A special understanding comes
When darkness turns to dawn;
There is a new beginning
Once the spirit is set free -
The door that closes opens
To reveal Eternity............................

    Linda, this is beautiful. It is short, but having said that, you have said so much with the few words that you've written. Great poem, really a great poem. Thank you so much for sharing it. Top marks from me.

    As I read this, it made me think of Emily Dickinson. Particularly the last 2 lines. Nice rhythm.
