Passenger Poem by Edwin Robinette

Passenger

Rating: 5.0

Traveling through an infinite macrocosm
I am a passenger on this celestial earth

Voyaging across this vast Universe
From the very instance of my birth

Distance and direction have no true meaning
Short lived as my life may be

Only seconds I survive on space time lines
As years are deducted from me

Held by gravity on this rotating orb
I am alien to any who may find me

Alert, aware of the heavenly expanse
I understand, it gave me all that I need

beautiful...i really got the galactic imagery on this...i like your poetry quite a bit, it is concise and easy to read, but carries a poignant message. I think it delivers on all marks. 10/10
