Payment - Poem by Melissa Chapman

Life's like a journey on a misty road.
With twists and turns
For both young and both old.

Life is not sure, there are to many bends.
Where will the road lead?
Where will it send?

Why can't we travel this life on our own?
Are we weak? Are we weary?
Are we wanderers forlorn?

Life's just begun, O' the sting, O' the pain.
Our only hope is
In the Savior's blood stain.

Evidence in the Bible is shown,
And in hell scream the unconverted:
Repent! Repent! As they moan.

Why do we wander down the pathway of life,
Weary and stricken with
Burdens and Strife?

When all we must do is toss sin at the cross.
But if you do not,
O' how great is the loss!

How simple it is to accept a free gift.
Make a decision,
Because life is so swift.

So trust Christ today!
If the answer is no,
There is no doubt you will pay.
