Peace Beautified Is Right War Is Just Plain Wrong Poem by Terence George Craddock

Peace Beautified Is Right War Is Just Plain Wrong

when the straight writes talks shoots from the lip not the hip
rants on lectures on main division themes love hate not fate
talking boring so stale it seems the straight even bores self
then it is time to acknowledge peace dreams weave insight scenes
money is honey fills empty tummy buys trendy cool threads clothes
blood oaths revenge roast military skills trained to kill ethnic minds
dance in rain to rhythms liquid sunshine nurtures blesses new life
creativity builds restores blesses war wastes destroys plagues sows strife

war is legalized killers in uniform let off the leash granted immunity
war is legalized murder committed with premeditated plans in secrecy
war is target acquired civilian collateral damage equations acceptable
war is deliberate destruction of cities power stations water supplies critical
war is conducted to steal countries oil resources land food for generations
war is economically impractical peace provides countless cheaper options
