People At The Middle Age Poem by Luo Zhihai

People At The Middle Age

人到中年

燕语皆言春日事
蝉鸣总唱夏天情
月升半夜万松静
人到中年百事清

注:第一二句罗志海作,第三四句霜海花开作。

People At The Middle Age

Twitters of swallows all say
mind about the spring day
Sounds of cicadas always sing
feeling of the summer day
Moon rises at the midnight
ten thousand pines are silent
A hundred things are clear
people at the middle age

Note: first and second sentences by Luo Zhihai.
Third and fourth sentences by Shuanhaihuakai.

(cont.) ...OOPS! i meant to MyPoemList // are you saying that people at 'the middle age', ......which i think equates to what i'd call 'middle age', ....understand 100 things well? ? ? i hope more than that, but i guess it varies a lot! and as one gets even older...(what years are 'the middle age' anyway? ?) , ...that number may decline slowly, or rise, depending on surroundings and health. i think i now clearly 'see' about 79 things. bri :)

it is nearly April in northern California; i guess it is all over the world now! ! ! i just saw 'my first' swallows of 'spring' a day or two ago; it was nice, indicating warming temperatures. to MyPoetList, for the birds at least. (continued) ..
