People Who Love Their Dogs And Vice Versa: A Conclusion

She tosses the ball
and her dog retrieves it—
meeting both their needs—
the pats, endearments—
rituals of love.

With simple image of playing ball with the pet dog, you have said so many things. The man and his pet meet their need., companionship, love, appreciation, care, physical exercise and emotional security.A wonderful poem, thanks for sharing.

and thanks for commenting, bharati. i see love expressed in many small things, and i'm convinced the small things add up. the world would be a different place, no? , if every one of us practiced love neighbor to neighbor, person to person. not that this is easy, but i think if we did it, then waiting on governments to solve our problems- governments themselves- would be unnecessary or much less necessary. -glen

Dogs will never fail to reciprocate man's love! Their love and fidelity to their masters are assured! That's why dogs are always cherished!
