Perfect Golf - Poem by David Taylor

If you can fill your time
So that it’s full with only now
And not the past or future

If you can fill your mind
With boundless space
And not any other feature

If you can fill your heart
With only love
And leave no room for hate

If you can find your soul
In heaven and this earth below
Whole in one
You are my teacher!

This is just a great list of If's which would certainly lead to many happy 'hole in one's'....................need to work on my if only's, thanks for the reminder expressed here so well............marci. :) (Report)Reply

David, lovely poem, if only we could do all you said. Several suggestions put me out for the count. Thank you for sharing.

Lovely David - filling your time with now, instead of remorse over what's gone before and scared anticipation/hope of what's to come - maybe in that 'calm' we can truly appreciate what we all have here and now... Rambling again! ! Sorry. Great poem David! (Report)Reply

Eye-catching title! Nice poem, David. Wish we could do that. Is it possible?
