Doomed to wander

in arid plains

To look in the mud

to find the stone

that will give birth to gold

and will defeat death

Alas

Death laughs sarcastically

and lead

doesn't turn to gold





Καταδικασμένος να πλανιέμαι

σε άνυδρες πεδιάδες

Να ψάχνω στη λάσπη

να βρω τη λίθο

που θα γεννήσει το χρυσό

που θα νικήσει το θάνατο

Αλίμονο

Ο θάνατος γελά σαρκαστικά

και ο μόλυβδος

δε γίνεται χρυσάφι
