Picture Of You Poem by Min Sia

Picture Of You

Rating: 5.0

I saw you in your mother's gown.
I saw you standing in that glamorous garden,
Holding such beautiful white roses,
With the best smile you ever had.

But underneath your picture,
I saw you in your mother's gown.
Empty palms on both sides.
Sleeping with an awful smile.

I turn my gaze on your picture again..

and then I pray...

Min, this is a beautiful write, sometimes we are only left with pictures, but we do have memories of happy times. You only have to visit a place once, because you can in your mind revisit many times. 10
