Pierside >>> Poem by Manonton Dalan

Pierside >>>

Rating: 5.0

big flat top coming to bay
very slow going with tide
conex carrier faster I know
they are making money too
sea water is so clear today
I can see bottom; empty cans
littered; let rain conceal

crab boats gone for season
pier fisherman are no show
but left some hooks, scales
drying on dirty wood planks
runners are still running
it's in their blood gurgling
