Pigeon's Game Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Pigeon's Game

Rating: 5.0

I saw the pigeon’s game
Very innocent and free from blame
Not taking note of everybody around
As if least bothered on favorable ground

It puzzled me about their way of attachment
They will often jump, fight and make movement
There is no let up in their behavior and acts
They come, sit together fly and again to interact

They loose their lives so often
Cats and dogs often catch them in open
They are easily fooled and drawn in net
They are so innocents and so is their fate

Even though harmless and considered as peace messenger
They sometimes go very much blind and are exposed to dangers
They close the eyes and think no one watches
Life and death is just fraction of seconds away to reach
