Pink Carpet



At first you may think
it's a carpet of pink,
but that would not be true.

They are blossoms that fell
and they blend in so well;
it's such a lovely hue.

The blossoms in the picture have fallen from the tree above onto the sidewalk, and we are treated to this lovely sight often and in different places throughout the city of Recife.
