Place Called You Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Place Called You

I wanna take a trip,
Not just any ol' trip,
I wanna go to a town called you,
To watch the movies that play in your eyes,
To Watch my favorite parts, that constantly smile, at the silly things you do,
I've never been to a place quite like this before,
A place you lose track of time,
Lost in the sights, the smells that errupt from the different eateries,
To Fall in love with the sights,
The streets taken where memories are formed, not to be forgotten anytime soon,
You can say what you want about me, I've found this favorite place of mine,
In the middle of your chest,
I've never heard a song quite like that before,
Everytime I come,
They play my favorite song,
I know every part word for word,
In that wordless symphony,
I can't wait to visit this place called you again,
A place that's always glad you came,
The pictures on the wall,
The lights that shine bright as the sun,
Every time I visit, I always take a trip to Singleton Pkwy,
As there the sun is always over the horizon,
Just waiting to kiss the moon soon as it's seen,
You might think me crazy,
Sitting here, talking about my favorite place,
The avenues, the streets that circle round,
Taking me to the perfect view,
Where the ocean craddles the clouds,
Those soft waves that ripple as far as the eye can see,
By far, your eyes are my favorite place to go,
The cute way you block the sun from shining too bright,
I'm planning my next visit here,
To a place called you
