Plagiarism Poem by M. Asim Nehal

Plagiarism

Rating: 5.0

They say many ideas float in air
And great men have converted those
Ideas into pictures, painting, sculptures
Poems, plays, novels, music and other arts
When same idea stuck with me
And I wrote it as a poem
Then why do they blame me for plagiarism?
How it became their intellectual property
When we all are blessed by God?
And I agree with them for the sake of
Avoiding further arguments,
Then why do they forget that they can
Create nothing without using God’s resources
Then where do they stand in Plagiarism test?

The idea of a totally original thought is almost unheard of. The interpretations of poets on a theme is wonderful, even if they are similar, they are not exactly the same. Thanks, Mohammed

You are right. Plagerism can be by accident. Some poets who post several per day may copy themselves without even knowing it!
