Please Read My Poetry...Again Poem by Wojja Fink

Please Read My Poetry...Again

Rating: 5.0

Still they keep coming like never before
100’s of comments but they still want more
some write of love some of greed
some have more comments than I wish to read
I’m off to the woods for a springtime walk
To that old oak tree I’m going to talk
Listen to the wind creaking the boughs
While the blackbird joins in with a thousand vows
You can’t ask nature for a comment or word
Unless you’ve a parrot that talks like a bird.

If you are a young poet the best advice I ever heard is
“writing poetry will teach you poetry”.
and of course read, read, read.

I really love this Wojja, It tells so much on who you really are and inner peace is worth so much more then looking for praise from anyone else. 10+++

Your poem could be saved and put in each letter to be sent back to them. Look at the money you could make if you could charge 25 Cents for each one of the. Great come back I believe.

I laugh aloud when I read your poem...................It is basic human nature........as one like to adorned oneself with garments so one like one's poem to adored with comments........young are like that and old people with young mind are too like that..........good write.........

You have good metre and rhyme Wojja. The best advice I can give a young poet is to learn about metre and rhyme themselves, for that is the heart of good poetry. Then read and read and read good poetry for without reading really good poetry, you cannot begin to write it.
