Poetry Can Be Nectar Of The Gods Given Free Poem by Terence George Craddock

Poetry Can Be Nectar Of The Gods Given Free

we write
do critics
love us hate us
we write
in a city
it is easy
to write busy
in a small town

a poet is hometown clown
if poetry does not make money
does it lose golden glow honey?
nectar of the gods we would give free
sanskrit amrita nectar bestowing immortality
Greek ambrosia drink sweet nectar taste immortality

Poetry comes from within, words that need to be expressed, (if it makes money that a side bonus) . To me it means more if someone likes it or it has touched them in some way..nice write. Annette
