Poetry Of Equal Justice For Ahmaud Arbery And Our People Poem by Hebert Logerie

Poetry Of Equal Justice For Ahmaud Arbery And Our People

We want JUSTICE for the victims of Covid-19
Too many people are dying in quarantine
We want JUSTICE for brother Ahmaud Arbery
Who was lynched by two criminals who are crazy
Witless, sick, ignorant and racist. The world belongs
To all of us. Let me write, sing and play the songs
Of unity and brotherhood against bias and bigotry
How would you feel if Ahmaud were your brother
Your cousin, friend or a member of your family?
We must write, fight, yell, weep and shout to honor
This innocent brother who was cowardly executed
By two hate-mongering vigilantes who have not been
Charged after committing such an odious and obscene
Murder. We believe in equal justice for all. No diluted
Justice and fairness for all the children of the Almighty
We want justice for everyone, especially for Ahmaud Arbery
Because a callous and cruel crime was clearly committed
Against this innocent brother.Ahmaud was killed, executed
Murdered, lynched in the middle of the day by two racists
This is a crime against humanity. This is a crime against us
Think about this heinous and hateful murder? I am pissed
I am upset. Ahmaud was killed because of the color of his cutis
Because he is black. The world belongs to all of us regardless
Of the skin color, accent, wisdom, height, weight, or whatever else
We want justice for the crimes and aggression committed against
All the children of God, our People. It is time to quit playing defense
The laws must be fair, just and impartial. Everybody must be equal
Under the law.We want JUSTICE. We must be protected by the eagle.

COVID-19 will be defeated definitely and this will no more cause harm to us. We offer prayer before God to save us. This is a very nice poem.
