Praying For Cds Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

The Prologue:
Praying for CDS, i rather prefer to keep his name in initials, a personal choice tp post this true story here on Poem Hunter,
I wish to tell about God's great Wonders that constantly fill my life, this is again my testimony. Thank you so much for reading and your responses.

The Prose Poem:
Last March the 13th
I have received an email
from a lawyer in Togo, Africa
she asked me to identify him,
he was in a coma

What? ! In coma? !
I was very shocked
my emotions were instantly blocked
he was beaten by bandits upon his arrival at the airport.

she told me:
they have taken all his luggage, laptop, papers and money,
he fell into a coma and was carried to the Mission hospital,
no one could identify him,
all papers had gone,
he was in a coma,
in the deepest sleep,
so shocked,
I couldn't weep
in a coma for three months,
that are 90 days in the deepest sleep!

I said to the lawyer: yes, he is CDS,
she thanked me very much
and told me to pray for him like she did,

so shocked my first reactions were OMG!
The first thing I did,
after that I prayed to God on the spot,
I really begged God so extremely
to wake CDS from its coma,

I want to tell you that God has answered my prayer
the next day CDS was awake,
I read this in the lawyer's email,
she told me,
she got a call this morning
by the Mission Hospital
CDS is now awake!

my heart leaps up with gratitude!
this is another great blessing that God has sent me,
CDS is now awake after three months in a coma,
he is my best friend who had gone to Africa
to fill his brand new job,
his last job such a top!
I was happy for his future and thankful to God
that he got the best job he ever had!

The lawyer from Togo, Africa sent me her first email
last March 13 to inform me
about CDS being robbed and beaten
by bandits on arrival at the airport,
she was called by the Mission Hospital
where CDS was being taken,
he had no papers at all,
he couldn't speak because he was in a coma,
he was in deepest sleep, still breathing
she couldn't know who he was
she didn't know who could identify him?

Until March 13 when her email arrived,
God let her know my email address, sure!
she and I then began to pray,
The greatest blessings sent by God the next day,
CDS woke up from his three-months coma!

I now inform you all:
this is my testimony for yet again God's greatest Wonder
in my life and that of the lawyer,
CDS is now awake,
she said CDS only needs time to talk,
as soon as she knows more she will update me

The Epilogue:
I am still thanking God for this greatest Wonder
