Precious Moments - Poem by Christina Simmons

I can never forget precious moments
Spend with you - In my memory bank they will always be

Those precious moments Were special to me
When I looked into your brown eyes
All I could see were Sparkling diamonds gleaming at me

Came alight; So bright and alive I thought of the stars
Your smile was like honeydew: So sweet and mellow
You made me feel happy

You made me feel like silk...So soft and gentle...
So pure and beautiful - Your warm embrace
I could not resist: Angels with wings I wish I could fly
Oh how precious were those moments

Topic(s) of this poem: human condition, angel

Form: Acrostic
