Protagonista Poem by G J Salgado

Protagonista

Rating: 5.0

Cover to cover you read me like a book
You knew my story without giving me a second look
Page by page on the edge of your skin
Inch by inch you read each word from the beginning to the end
You read them line by line
I heard your voice from the inside
As you spoke you and the world came a little closer
It was the way you said the words over and over
You held my magic inside your hands
We became lost in our own neverland
I could feel everything you could feel
You were the one who wrote my story and made me real
