Pushed Off The Track Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Pushed Off The Track

I feel all my battles,
Are gone.
Gone.
Gone.
Every battle that I had,
Is gone.
Gone.
Gone.

A self defeating,
Is gone.
And off of my back.
And alibis,
Are gone...
Too.

Mistakes repeated,
Are gone.
And pushed off the track.
Not to repeat a quick defeating,
To have it in my head...
To cage me in to trap.

Mistakes repeated,
Are gone.
And pushed off the track.
Not to repeat a quick defeating,
To have it in my head...
To cage me in to trap.

Since every battle that I had,
Is gone.
Gone.
Gone.
And off of my back.
All my battles are gone,
Gone.
Gone.

All my battles have shuffled,
And gone.
Gone.
Gone.
