Questioning My Own Silence!
there are times when i question
my own silence....
when it starts to smell like
'i dont care'...
when it reeks of
'i dont have time to get involved'.
when it stares back at me from
an angry mirror.
when it turns and walks away
like some stranger....
when it hurts with every step i take!
This one says a lot to me Eric. I like it a lot. Actually all of your poems mean so much and say to much. I think we all question ourselves in the same way as you. Great work. Very relevant.
