Quiet Wisdom Poem by Roshni D'Souza

Quiet Wisdom

Rating: 5.0

A quiet calm in standing still
comes amidst one's storms of will.
Despair offers only derision;
demands death of every vision.
Cowardice coerces hasty retreat
lest unwittingly challenges one may meet.
Urgency urges urgent action;
intervention brings immediate satisfaction.
But quiet mind and quiet heart
in stillness already play a part.
Nothing required; nothing more
than wisdom to 'be still and know'.
