Rain After Summer Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Rain After Summer

Rating: 5.0

The sound of the clouds
Come down from the sky
When it is swollen with
Rain and desperately cry

The sound of rain fills the
Air as it does pour across
The parched land and dry
Stream and swiftly cross

The hills and mounds and
Villages and thatched huts
And topes and leas to melt
With the sound of gusts

With dark clouds pacing
The sky it's time for rain
To take over charge and
Make summer to wane

During summer hills and mountains dry up but when rain comes all creatures including hills and mountains drink water. The poetic observation is very deep and this poem is excellently penned.

A lovely poem that beautifully depicts how rain falls from clouds and how it affects the weather. A well crafted and conveyed nature write.
