I hate the rain, the pain it brings
Just like the tears, the droplet stings.
The dark heaven pouring spears
Please stop, I hope and pray
Hekatoncheires, my heart to spare.
I’m tired of the waters
I longed for the sun.
Hemera please show me your crown.
Shame away Nephelai’s cloud.
Use your light to unveil the sky.
I’ll be waiting for you to come
So you can bathe me with your warmth.
Dry the land with trace of rain
Dry my wounds and heal my pain.
Wash my face the tears had stained.
I’ll drink on the river Lethe
Forget the pain driven by rain.
Even on daylight Nyx give way,
With the sunshine my love sustained.
So tomorrow I’ll rise again.
A well woven poem and with the use of Greek Mythology characters - great piece.
