Torment Poem by diana rose tolentino

Torment

Rating: 5.0

The first time I saw you
I know you are a friend
So I tried to treat you
As nice as I can

But I didn’t expect
That I will feel so strange
The friendship we built
I just can’t let it end

Tell me how can I ignore
This feeling so strong
Tell me how to teach myself
Not to fall even more

Coz every time I try
The more that I cry
The more that I hide
The more I lose my mind

I don’t know what to do
All I know is I love you
But how can I tell you
When I know you won’t say “I do’

I know inside I am bleeding
But still I won’t give in
I will continue loving you
Even if pain is what I have to pay.

Love is a spiritual experience that affects one profoundly. It's however whimsical and temperamental. It touched my heart. Very realistic description. Thanks for sharing.
