From my debut book "Fleeting Moments: haiku on nature"
a long spell of rain
has at last come to a halt
raindrops drip from leaves
At first, Bipasha, I had a small reaction in me to the word “halt”—it has a hard, abrupt connotation. But then I had the “aha! ” with its contrast to the subtle moving of dripping drops. Good one! -Glen
