Rainy Days Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Rainy Days

Rating: 4.3

Now our river is full
Full of water and fishes
Full of water and crabs
Full of prawns and tortoises
It has been dry for long
It banks stood hand in hand
Making the river thin as a thread
Now it is running full
Drowning the trees on its sides
Though its voice has become
Coarse we still love its song
Frogs are running towards it
Love to swim and to be
Taken away by its current
We can see reflections of clouds
On its ripples filled surface
Clouds are dancing too
Let the sky remain dark for
Few more days
