Random Thought 38 (Mom's Tweet 2)

It is easy to apologize
For doing or saying
Some thing wrong.
Much more harder is to accept
That you are wrong.
First scenario requires one to be sensible
Other requires one to be humble.
We take pride in being sensible
But none holds humility in high esteem

Thoughts worth pondering over and over! Indeed one should be sensible enough to discern that one has been wrong and it requires great humility to admit it openly!

You made me think about this and I do believe, to my shame, that you are right. I need to work on holding humility in high esteem since no one can be right all the time or even 50% of the time and that is going to bring out a lot of apologizing. I like the structure of this poem, I like its tautness, its conciseness, and I like the directness of its flow. Thank you for posting this..

Thankyou Susan for your thoughtful comment. I suppose we are work in progress. Specially when it comes to amending our shortcomings. So nice to hear from you.
