Real Lovers Are Speechless Poem by Freeyad Ibrahim

Real Lovers Are Speechless

Rating: 5.0

Being speechless at the mention of the beloved is eloquence
And the eloquence of the lovers is to be, speechless, mute
Long I humilated the people who loved until I tasted it
Until I met a gazelle with big eyes so slender so cute
Love has changed my vocal cords into a lute
And my tormented heart after her departure into a flute
My tears have written an eternal pledge to
my First and last beloved, Catherine, The Sweet.
But she hasn't seen my tears until she left without a salute
Staying up nights after her sepration, insomenia is acute
O how I desire to fall asleep at any moment
Perchance I meet her in my dreams on the route
Now I wonder how he who hasn't fallen in love
remain in life, and live without losing his repute.
A bitter fact beyond dispute!

This poem about love is as passionate as the sequels about Victor Hugo I reckon. Especially when you wrote here about that first and last beloved one
