(reality Or Not)observation Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

(reality Or Not)observation

Could it be?
Observation is not as clear,
To believe.
Than a truth to create it.
No where near to appear.
Although passed on from ear to ear.
And claimed what is true heard whispered,
Has all the ingredients to label a fact.
Soon to come,
Guaranteed by the ones...
Who will declare they know that.

Observers?
They may voice their opinions,
Of what it is they actually see.
Depending upon how close they are,
To a reality to know it not disguised.

And few will argue to disagree,
Deluding to hallucinate...
Had not been done.
To solicit controversy.
Or await for anyone,
To interpret what they've seen.
Yet always there is someone,
Late to arrive on the scene.
Attempting to convince,
What they were told to have it heard...
Is far more dependable,
To declare it true.
Than the evidence to witness it.
Or have it first validated to approve,
By those who faithfully gossip.

"Are you trying to tell us,
We fantasize what it is we see? "

-Well...
At least take into consideration,
What I have heard.
Before jumping to conclusions.
After all...
The gossipers I know,
Are reliable and professional.
And not often do they embellish.
Or exaggerate the facts.-
