Wary have I grown O’ Lord
Of this interminable slumber
Sound unto my
Willful deafness
Thunderbolt of ego
Send quakes of awakening
Through my moth-eaten
Intellect
Let me discover
Myself
So I may see more of
YOU

awaken from the bed in the morning I see my face turns pale somebody help me i'm still looking for the One
whn very very young 'moth-eaten leaf' is the expression i used when i described myself in one of the poems!
Inspiration drives us, we need it to go further... these were not the first words that came to my mind when I read Reawakening...the first words that came were 'I am too much of a free-will guy to comment here' The thought of the Lord allowing me find me and then him is far-fetched for me, but yes the moments of awakening are undeniably strange and elusive and for them to walk by once more is something I too can ask for! cheers...
A very spiritual piece, a searching for that knowledge that lies within, but needs to be reawakened. And when the time is right, awareness will descend on the wings of angels. Lovely! Linda
