Reboot Me Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Reboot Me

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes Lord,
it takes more than once
to wake me up
because I'm a dunce

I'm thankful Lord
you haven't abandoned me
Just look what it took
to make me see

Only you know me Lord.
Fell, whispers to deaf ears
Sternness you took instead
A swift kick in the rear

I did not listen at first,
nor even see the light.
So more than once it took
You had to kick but twice.

Thank goodness Lord
my faith is deeply rooted
I'll listen this time
My life now is rebooted
