Reborn Poem by Yonah Jeong

Reborn

Rating: 5.0

When was it
i only knew me
i cried
Merely to see my shadows
Even if
By my side
Someone hold my hand
i didn't know or feel
Lots of landscapes and peoples
Passing by
But it were only my backgrounds
In the whirlpool of the world
There was a unique 'I'
That was a value of values
It was a only gift i could give
One day suddenly
i found a box
As soon as i opened it
With my poor hand
The overflowing with sparkling river waves,
The precious tears of acquaintances
Shed for me
Passed through the body and wet the soul.
Now i can know and feel
Neighbor's crying
It became my best worth.
