Reborn - Poem by Tom Renney
Upon passions peak,
I stand and gaze,
into your star filled eyes.
Amidst a lowering mist of love,
a brilliant sun doth rise.
It's glow engulfs my manhood,
my lust, my joy, my pride.
A valley rich in sensual dream,
below me, stretches, far and wide.
My ears are filled with rumours,
of cascading blissful streams.
Upon them, sunlight reflects.
Weary eyes taste exotic beams.
A world unto me, your soul has become.
A dazzling reality, amidst flowered glade.
My heart beats fast, in time to yours,
my old world is unmade.
Newborn I rise, from the fires of lust,
you've kindled in my flesh.
Lifting my head, I stand and gaze.
Under star filled eyes,
I take my first breath.
