** Recession Of Love ***--In Top 500 Poem by ANJALI SINHA

** Recession Of Love ***--In Top 500

Rating: 4.7

The flood of recession
has shaken the foundation
of house of hope,
built on land of optimism

The hope is swept away
in torrential flood of depression

The soothing wintry sunshine
of share and care
has turned into
scorching sunrays of despair.
The name pink
no longer invites fantasies
but make men
slips into sleeplessness

But as long as
flood of recession
doesn’t cause
waning in love and care
human beings
will breathe
and live and share
and give
and yes!
no one on this earth
shall repent and grieve

Like Thomas Hardy, here you express of something of very pessimistic. But in the last stanza, you express your hope of waning love. I dedicate this two lines: In darkness, you find nothing, In the morning, the new sun give you everything.

Nice theme..... Alas! what sin did these beautiful colours commit? For every negative facet of the world a splendid colour has to bear guilt! We have a BLUE, A RED and now PINK!

I wish I could agree with you, but then economics has a way of impacting everything, even life and love...
