Refrain From Lie Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Refrain From Lie

L-et us refrain from lie,
I-nstead remain in the truth;
E-ven during temptation,
Z-ealously work, not
L-oot.

R-efrain from vicious lie,
E-ven during the test of time;
F-all not from heaven's grace,
R-ight decision is sublime.
A-llow our hearts to restrain from beating in deceit;
N-o blessing can we attain if we speak so unfit.

P-ractice telling the facts,
A-s well as the reality;
U-se our tongue properly,
L-et's not just live in fantasy.
I-t's nice to stay in sincerity,
T-wenty-first day of May;
E-arnestly always be honest, refrain from lie to say.
