Replacing Pillows Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Replacing Pillows

You've filled not only
The empty space beside me
But the love seat in my heart,
The one I normally sit down &
Drape my leg across and
Pretend that everything
Is alright.
At the end of the day theres
still hardly anything good
On TV.
I'm sure there are plenty of
Other things you could be doing,
But replacing the pillows on
The couch happens
To be one of my favorite things
